Nissan Workers Vote to Decertify UAW

Several online sources report employees at a Nissan parts distribution center in New Jersey have voted to decertify the UAW.

Workers in Somerset, New Jersey filed a petition in April to rid themselves of the union. The union was certified in 2020 according to reports.

On May 1, the decertification vote was reported to be 69% to decertify and just 31% to retain UAW representation. The NLRB moved forward with the result.
