A group has taken out a full-page advertisement in The New York Times that questions whether the UAW and its president, Shawn Fain, are election deniers as they seek to overturn the votes of employees in last month’s election at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International.
The ad comes after the UAW filed charges to nullify the recent election in which employees at MBUSI rejected the union by a 12-point margin.
The union filing with the National Labor Relations Board seeks to overturn those election results and order a new election at which the union can try once more to persuade a majority of employees to back them.
