The Detroit News is reporting Stellantis NV employees who are United Auto Workers members have been told not to expect a profit sharing check this year.
The story quotes a company statement as saying there will be no profit sharing under the collective bargaining agreement reached with the union in 2023.
“As the North America results did not meet the minimum thresholds defined in the 2023 UAW collective bargaining agreement, there will be no profit sharing paid to UAW-represented employees for 2025,” the statement sent by spokesperson Jodi Tinson said.
This marks the second year in a row Stellantis workers have been disappointed with profit sharing. Last year’s payout was down 73% from the previous year.
Meanwhile, General Motors Co. and Ford Motor Co. have each announced substantial profit sharing payouts of up to $10,500 and $6,780, respectively, according to the News.
Financial results released by the company this week show Stellantis sales fell for the seventh straight year in 2025.
