HMMA Workers Give Food Bank a Boost

HMMA Team Members have raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Heart of Alabama Food Bank.

Workers at Montgomery’s assembly line presented food bank officials with a check for nearly $30,000 dollars recently.

Team Members raised $14,575 during the company’s annual fundraising drive and the company added another $15,000 to bring the total to $29,575. The food bank will use the money to provide tens of thousands of meals across central and south Alabama.

“Our team has once again demonstrated their generosity and love for their neighbors and community,” said Scott Posey, HMMA manager of public relations. “In these challenging times, there are people in great need. The funds that HMMA and its Team Members have donated today will help provide nearly 150,000 meals to people who worry today that they might not be able to eat tomorrow.”

HMMA’s annual food drive brings Team Members together in support of local communities. Through both individual giving and corporate support, the initiative reflects HMMA’s ongoing commitment to making a meaningful difference beyond the workplace.

Each dollar donated to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank can provide five meals to Alabamians in need, amplifying the impact of every contribution and ensuring essential resources reach families throughout the region.
