HMMA presented a donation to Alabama State University in the amount of $13,465 today for the continued operation of ASU’s She Care Wellness Pods.
The She Care Wellness Pods project was launched on the campus of Alabama State University in 2023 to provide mental‑health and well‑being services for female students, including therapy, counseling, and wellness activities such as yoga and meditation.
The pods and their associated services have made a remarkable impact on campus, and HMMA’s donation will help ensure their sustainability for current and future students.
